Keelung

Situated on the northeastern coast of Taiwan, Keelung is an important departure point for excursions to Taipei which is located about 30 kilometers inland. With a mixture of traditional and modern sights, the capital is a popular destination for sightseeing.

Teipei 101
The skyscraper has 101 floors above ground and 5 basement floors and houses a shopping center, restaurants and offices. A high-speed elevator will bring you to the observation deck on the 89th floor where you’ll have a fantastic view of the city and the surroundings.   

Lungshan Temple
The Chinese temple was built during the Qing dynasty and is dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. The temple is famous for its roof decorated with dragons.

Chiang-Kai-shek Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall as built in memory of the former president Chiang-Kai-shek. It is surrounded by a park in direct vicinity to the National Theater and the National Concert Hall.
